This Privacy Policy explains how BharatiSoftware.Com (“we”, “us”), operator of DGERP (dgerp.in), collects, uses and protects information when you use our WhatsApp Business messaging platform and related services provided via the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). DGERP is a WhatsApp Business Solution built on the official WhatsApp Business APIs.

Information we collect

Depending on how the service is used, we may process:

  • Account & school data: school name, administrator name, email, phone number and role.
  • Student/parent/staff records entered by the school (name, class, contact number, attendance, fees).
  • WhatsApp communication data: recipient phone numbers, message templates and delivery status, used only to send school notifications you initiate.
  • Technical data: device/browser information, IP address and usage logs for security.

How we use information

  • To provide school-management features (admissions, attendance, fees, exams, transport, hostel, ID cards).
  • To send school-authorised notifications (fees, attendance, notices) over WhatsApp, SMS or email.
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

WhatsApp & Meta Platform data

When a school connects its WhatsApp Business Account through Meta’s Embedded Signup, we receive a WhatsApp Business Account ID, a business phone number ID and an access token used solely to send that school’s messages. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. Use of Meta data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, messaging gateways such as Meta/WhatsApp and payment processors) as needed to operate the service, and when required by law.

Data retention & security

Data is retained while the school account is active and deleted on request (see Data Deletion). We use encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging to protect information.
